6 months of loving Leo Todd!!! We are so head over heels for this boy, it’s not even funny 🥹🤍. He is truly heaven-sent and everything we didn’t know we were missing.

Thank you to my amazingly talented friend @cheykphoto for always capturing our family so perfectly and to @beautybykatie502 for making me feel confident again for the first time since giving birth 🥲. Washing my make-up off was truly a sad experience lol.

Aaand we’re back! Almost lol. After a 6 month maternity leave, I’ll officially be back at it as of March 1st 🤗. The past 6 months with our beautiful baby boy have went so by so quickly and I’m so grateful I was able to have this uninterrupted time with my family. I can’t wait to officially introduce you guys to him in a couple of weeks, after we have family photos taken for his 6 months!

I’m so excited to start seeing you guys again and creating and actually seeing the outside of my house on a regular basis lol. Until then, I wanted to share one of the last shoots I did before my leave started. Shayd + I were less than a week apart in our pregnancies, so it was super special to capture these maternity photos for her! 🥰

That just engaged feeling ✨

This moment was just as dreamy + joyful as it looks. I truly couldn’t have started my maternity leave on a better note. When Andrew reached out to me about wanting to capture his proposal to Jessie, I had already “closed my books”, but there was no possible way I was passing up being part of this! I shot anniversary photos for this sweet couple back in 2022, and I was ecstatic to get to work with them again- especially for this occasion ☺️. So so grateful to be trusted with memories as precious as these.

A special shout out to my little sis who helped so much in setting this up. It was a hot 90 degree day, made more intense by being 37 weeks pregnant 😅, and I couldn’t have done it without her 🫶🏼.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: as long as I do photography, I’ll never stop capturing senior sessions. Always some of my favorites each year ☺️. Especially when there’s a personal touch added, like in Katie Jane’s. She incorporated her dance background during her senior session and I absolutely loved it 💚🌿

Being pregnant since the beginning of the year mea

Being pregnant since the beginning of the year means just now finally sharing the seniors of class of 2024, while currently editing photos for the class of 2025 🥴. Eleanor’s senior shoot was one of my favs from this past spring!

A little update: I’m currently no longer taking new bookings until after my maternity leave. I have less than 8 weeks left of this pregnancy and working in this summer heat has definitely started to take its toll 😮‍💨. I’ll be able to work with a small handful of repeat clients in the later part of fall, but for all new clients, booking will resume in the spring. This seems like such a long time, but I want to allow ample time for my recovery + prioritize time with my family over the holidays. I’m also excited that this will give me plenty of downtime to share a ton of shoots from the past year that have yet to see my Instagram feed!

Long time, no post! I can’t believe how many mon

Long time, no post! I can’t believe how many months have passed since I’ve shared anything here. This past year has undoubtedly been the most challenging of my life, with back to back hits to my health. I’ve spent the past several months prioritizing my wellness, both physically + mentally, and fortunately I’m finding myself in a significantly better place these days. I want to avoid dumping every past hardship in this little caption box, but I do want to say how much I appreciate the love, grace, and prayers shown to me by my clients + family alike. There’s too much I could say on that subject alone, but just know I’m beyond grateful and you made all the difference in my journey of getting back on track.

I’m so excited to finally be in a place where I can be active on social media again and share new work with you guys! I’ve made a ton of changes for 2024, to ensure I’m able to show up 100% for you all, my family, + myself, and I feel so good about this new approach and work balance ✨.

I’ve held onto this precious video for almost a year. It felt too important to share on just any random day. Last September, @unscriptedfilmco graciously agreed to create a keepsake video of us + our boy. We are so grateful they took time out of their schedule in one of the busiest months of the year to partake in something so far out of the scope of weddings. You guys are incredible- we could never thank you enough for this. I watch this video over + over + over and I have no doubt I’ll continue to do so for the rest of my life. This video reminds me of how absolutely surrounded with love Rambo was. We loved him and fought so hard for him until the very last second, just as he deserved. And he returned that love to us tenfold.

Today, we celebrate what would be his 14th birthday. The heartbreak of losing him consumes me a lot of the time, but I thank God I got to experience almost 13 years of life with the best boy there ever was by my side. Every day with him was heaven. His little soul knew me better than anyone.
